Project Slayers 2 Breathing Trainer Locations

Breathing trainers in live Slayers 2 sit around the open world. You talk to a trainer, complete that style's requirements, then finish a follow-up quest to unlock the kit. This page is pathing from post-release gameplay videos. It is not an official map, and material counts on screen can change.

For move lists from studio footage, use the Breathing Styles guides. For Sound's official kit, see Sound Breathing.

Shared requirements

Community trainer videos treat these as the default gate:

RequirementNotes
Level 25Shown as the level to interact with trainers.
Double jumpNeeded for almost every route.
ClimbNeeded for Thunder, Sound, the doctor-style ledges, and several shortcuts.
Style materialsDemon cores, demon horns, or beast cores, depending on the trainer. Exact counts vary and are not all confirmed.

Unlocking the style is two steps: meet the trainer's listed materials, then complete the breathing quest. Community footage says those quests differ: some use parkour, some use push-ups, some use a trainee fight.

Trainer locations

Routes below start from the beginner village unless noted. Watch the linked timestamps instead of guessing coordinates.

StyleWhere community footage goesTimestamp
Snake / SerpentFrom spawn toward the bandit camp, then up the mountain. One guide lists five demon cores.
InsectDrop toward the two giant boulders, hug the ledge, land at Butterfly Estate, then go to the back of the grounds.
FlameCut through the village exit, cross the bridge, and find the trainer by the house associated with Rengoku.
ThunderPast the bear area and Oari, into the wilderness, then a long climb to a tree-trunk ledge.
StoneA separate overland path from the starter side of the map.
SoundSnow / ice region. Cold drains health. Bring a lantern if you have one, and use campfires.
WindBack into the snow, through the ice village, down a giant tree branch. Cold damage is milder on this route than Sound.
WaterFrom the starter side toward a house and a giant bush, then swim out to the trainer.

Snake is the style community videos call Serpent on older wiki pages. Live trainer labels in Day 1 videos say Snake.

Sound Breathing warning

Sound is the hardest early trainer to reach. The ice village applies cold damage, and the last climb is a double-jump plus climb sequence on a timer. Community footage shows players with high health still arriving nearly dead. Campfires along the snow path let you stop and recover. A short dedicated route video is .

Do not treat Sound as the default first style just because it is the newest official showcase.

After you unlock a style

Talking to the trainer is not the unlock. Finish the trainer's quest, including the trainee fight if that style has one.

You can then take the Slayer exam / Final Selection. Community footage shows it on a timer: the on-screen prompt in one Day 1 video says it starts every two hours. The exam area is reached by the same drop used for Insect Breathing, then past Butterfly Estate and across to the Final Selection grounds. .

Solo players are told to gain extra levels first. Groups can attempt it sooner. The exam is locked if you are already a demon or have already cleared it.

Materials

Demon horns and demon cores are farmed in a cave shown after the exam route in the same trainer video (). Public servers contest that cave. One speaker guessed Wind might need a large horn count and immediately said that was unconfirmed. This wiki does not copy unverified material numbers.
