Project Slayers 2 Skill Tree Guide
The skill tree is where Project Slayers 2 turns progression into build choices. The showcase says you earn three universal skill points at level milestones, then spend them across different branches to shape your character. It also frames the tree as something that can grow over time, since future updates may add perks and attributes. 6:05
The important part is that the tree and mastery are not the same thing. Even with points invested, certain breathing skills still need a mastery threshold before they unlock, so mastery remains a separate progression track. 7:49
Branch guide
| Branch | What it changes | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Evil Art or Breath | Enhances those abilities | Includes unlocking or upgrading skills 1 through 4 and ultimates, plus passive nodes such as Reaper Dash and some tradeoffs. 6:36 |
| Weapons | Weapon skills 2 through 4 | The branch may limit how many weapon skills can be equipped together, but no exact slot cap is announced. 7:10 |
| Clans | Clan-linked bonuses | This branch can add passive bonuses and may modify skills. 7:26 |
| Body | Mobility, survival, and combat passives | Examples shown include double jump, damage, stamina, health, and regeneration. 7:47 |
How to plan a build
- Start with the actions you already rely on most.
- Compare the nodes that strengthen those actions before dividing points between branches.
- If your setup depends on breathing skills, keep mastery progression in mind because the tree does not replace it. 8:27
- If you want more movement or staying power, the Body branch is the clearest place to look because it covers mobility and survival passives.
- If your focus is on a weapon or clan identity, check those branches before spreading points elsewhere.
The developer introduces the skill tree after the combat demonstration and describes it as a way to make meaningful build choices. 5:31
