Project Slayers 2 Wiki

Project Slayers 2 Breathing Styles

Breathing Styles are the Slayer combat path in Slayers 2. Official videos show rebuilt move sets with cinematic finishers. Community pages say Part 2 styles use five moves instead of the Part 1 kit, and that each style gets one cutscene move.

How you unlock a style in the live game is still TBA. Do not copy Part 1 trainer locations or spin costs onto the sequel.

Officially showcased styles

These have dedicated Ouw Productions uploads.

Flame Breathing

This is the most recent Breathing Style showcase and is labeled Release Prep.

Stone Breathing

Community pages guessed Stone Breathing early because Gyomei appears in sequel artwork. The January 4, 2026 upload confirms it as an official style.

Thunder Breathing

Community notes from November 11, 2024 say Knoxity confirmed Thunder Breathing would have two variants. The November 21, 2025 showcase is the official look. Exact variant rules are not documented here.

Water Breathing

Second style announced in 2024 community records, with an official showcase on December 6, 2025.

Insect Breathing

Community move names attached to the sequel kit include Compound Eye Hexagon, True Flutter, Fluttering Sting, Hundred-Legged Zigzag, and Illusory Light. Those names come from community documentation of showcase footage, not from an in-game menu dump.

Announced but not in the recent official set

Serpent Breathing was the first Part 2 style announced, on April 15, 2024, with a sneak on June 2, 2024. Community pages describe twisting, delayed, and around-the-target slashes. Community move nicknames include Winding Serpent, Venom Fangs, Coil Choke, Twin-headed Serpent, and Slithering Serpent. Those names are unofficial.

A 2024 community line said launch would ship six Breathing Styles. Official videos have now shown five styles plus the earlier Serpent announcement. Treat the "six at launch" figure as a 2024 plan, not a locked roster.

What is still unknown

  • Trainer NPCs and unlock requirements
  • Whether Part 1 styles return with full reworks or only the showcased set ships
  • Final keybinds, damage numbers, and mastery costs
  • Whether Thunder's two-variant note survived into the current build

Wind Breathing update

Ouw Productions published a Wind Breathing showcase on August 30, 2026. It is the newest dedicated Breathing Style upload in the channel review completed September 8. The video confirms official Wind footage; it does not provide a trainer location, unlock cost, damage numbers, or a final tier ranking.

The same review found an earlier official upload whose description lists Blood Sickles, Snake breathing in its Project Slayers 2 segment: June 11, 2024 combined showcase. Dimension X footage in that upload is a separate game.
