Project Slayers 2 Tamari Guide
Tamari, sometimes spelled Temari, is a projectile-focused Demon Art in Project Slayers 2. The showcase opens on M1 attacks at 0:10, then shows a style built around direct throws, charged barrages, and follow-ups that depend on timing and position. The input differences to learn are: tap for a fast direct shot, hold when you want a larger volley, and watch your cursor for the moves that aim to a set location.
Moves at a Glance
| Move | What the showcase shows | Practice note |
|---|---|---|
| M1 attacks | Basic Tamari attacks shown at the start | Use them as your default close-range rhythm. |
| Spinning Throw | Tap fires a Tamari directly at the target and slows on hit at 0:37 | Good for checking movement and forcing a reaction. |
| Spinning Throw held | Holding charges a barrage of six Tamari, then a final throw at 0:59 | Practice the hold timing so you do not release too early. |
| Tamari Dunk | Leaps and throws downward, leaving a crater and stunning caught targets, followed shortly by a secondary explosion at 1:20 | Best treated as a committed engage or punish tool. |
| Piercing Kick | Jumps into a kick, then after it lands a second press throws a bouncing Tamari; the third bounce detonates at 1:55 | Wait for the kick to connect before re-pressing. |
| Tamari Meteor | Launches balls upward and then toward the cursor location at 2:35 | Cursor placement matters most here. |
| Spiraling Shot | Forms a Tamari with all the arms, spins it, and kicks it; on hit, the opponent is carried upward before an explosion at 3:14 | Watch for the upward carry, then follow the target’s drift. |
Practice Priorities
If you are learning Tamari for PvP, focus on four things first:
-
Tap versus hold
- Tap Spinning Throw when you want speed and direct pressure.
- Hold it when you have time to build a heavier response.
-
Confirm before re-pressing
- Piercing Kick only pays off if you wait for the kick to land before triggering the bouncing Tamari.
- Rushing the second input undermines the move’s shown flow.
-
Aim where the opponent will be
- Tamari Meteor is the clearest cursor-based example in the video.
- Treat it as a placement tool, not just a reaction shot.
-
Use vertical and knockdown moments deliberately
- Tamari Dunk and Spiraling Shot both create strong positional swings.
- The former stuns on impact, while the latter lifts the target upward before the explosion.
